What an empty home needs here

Between the ramparts of Old Antibes, the apartments of Juan-les-Pins and the villas of Cap d'Antibes, the town brings together very different homes. What they share is the sea right next door: joinery, shutters, railings and terraces exposed to sea spray need regular checks, and a closed home needs airing.

In summer, Juan-les-Pins and the Cap run at high-season pace: traffic, parking, tradespeople in short supply. Planning works and preparing the house before July is usually the best option. Off-season, what matters is regular visits, especially after autumn rain.

Yes, the whole of Antibes is covered, including Juan-les-Pins and Cap d'Antibes, as well as Golfe-Juan and Vallauris.

What do you check in a seafront apartment?

Ventilation, signs of damp or mould, joinery and shutters, bathrooms and water inlets, the condition of terraces and railings, and the mail. Every point is photographed in the report.

Should summer arrivals be planned well ahead?

We recommend letting us know as soon as your dates are set: in July and August, service providers are in high demand.

Can you arrange a day at sea during our stay?

Yes, on request and subject to availability, with partner charter companies and skippers: day hire, crewed or bareboat.
